Credit Valley Ledgerock - Grey

  • Credit Valley is a light grey sandstone which has been quarried in the Bruce Peninsula, Inglewood and Georgetown areas for over 100 years.


    This local stone has been a traditional building product in Southern Ontario was used to build some of the most iconic residences and public buildings in Toronto and surrounding area including Toronto's Old City Hall, Hart House and numerous buildings one the campus of Western University. The stone has a unifrom grain and fairly consistent colour although pockets of iron and other mineral staining is possible. The stone is easily worked with a chisel making it very customizable and each installation unique.
     

  • This is a natural stone product and is sold by the imperial ton. Sizes are random both in height and length and must be combined on site by your stone mason. Lengths are generally 6 to 18 inches and bed depth 4 to 5 inches.

    You can expect to cover approximately 40 square feet of wall area with each ton of stone.
