Stout

Product Overview

Stout is a dark brownish black brick with a sanded texture. It was introduced as a replacment to a product called Bluesteel which a popular brick in the 1970's and 1980's.  Stout does not have the particular blue/brown shading that characterized the original Bluesteel brickand the textue is also slightly different but it does have a similar level of darkness and is now the closest match available. For renovation and repair the most common sizes for this product are Ontario size although this item is also available in Mertic Modular as a special order.
